According to experts, prices in the French real estate market are gradually falling, but prices are growing steadily for elite housing. Recently, the profit from sales of expensive apartments and mansions has increased three times and this despite the fact that the volume of elite housing sales in France is only about 0.3%. Elite real estate himself is clearly not affordable, especially in the conditions of the economic crisis, so the vast majority of buyers (50-80%) are very wealthy foreigners.
The range of these potential buyers is wide: from oligarchs to movie stars. The cost of elite French real estate, which exceeds more than three million euros, is growing every year in accordance with the number of rich people who wished to acquire a palace, mansion or villa.
