Buying foreign real estate away from civilization

by hotjapanse

Although the number of people who want to move to a distance from civilization is not so large yet, real estate experts admit that this phenomenon is gradually gaining momentum.

The main reasons that push people to come from large cities is an increase in the cost of real estate and residence, as well as a deterioration in living standards due to overpopulation, poor environmental situation, the formation of socially disadvantaged areas. Stresses that are inevitable in the rhythm of life in a modern metropolis also have a fairly large role.

Regarding our compatriots, they are in no hurry to acquire real estate in the outback of our homeland. But in the European or Asian – it is quite possible. Despite the fact that the demand for real estate in tourist zones and resort cities is still prevailing, our compatriots are slowly picked up by fashion ecotrend. What motives are driven by those who acquire real estate away from the civilized world? And what to do in such a wilderness?

Rural paradise for freelancers

Local residents are quite rare in the wilderness, since the situation is not much better away from large cities abroad than in our country: there is almost no work. For this reason, on the proposal of foreigners, only people with great income can allow life outside the cities, they may not go to work, for example, due to dividends from investments or pensioners. For those who are used to traveling from the province to the big city, two to three hours of driving to work do not seem so terrible.

Although, there is another option: to earn remotely, good, in most of the European villages there is access to the Internet. The choice of place for their work is usually provided by countries with soft climate, beautiful landscapes, sea and mandatory – small costs for real estate objects. Basically, these are Montenegro, Bulgaria, Greece, Cyprus, less often Croatia, Slovakia, Germany, Czech Republic and Italy.

For the same purposes, many freelancers choose not only European countries, but also exotic states with a liberal visa regime and a relatively low cost of residence, for example, India or Thailand.
