The hotel of Russia is an unusually elegant small hotel in the center of the city of St. Petersburg on the embankment of the Fontanka River, a few minutes walk from Nevsky Prospekt. Open in 2007, the Rossi Hotel was named after Karl Rossi, an Italian by origin. The neoclassical architect, who designed some of the most famous attractions of St. Petersburg, including an impressive building of buildings on Lomonosov Square, built a 47-room hotel in Rossi.
While in a carefully restored historical building, the Rossi Hotel meets guests in the lobby. Thanks to convenient leather furniture, original works of art and living fire of the hotel, the guests of the hotel feel comfort and peace. Standard and luxury hotel rooms combine modern design and carefully preserved historical artifacts – such as open ceiling beams and old heating furnaces.
Some of the numbers are even represented in historical interiors, preserving the original decor of the nineteenth century. Naturally, all numbers are equipped with comfortable furniture and a full set of modern technical amenities, including air conditioning and free Internet access. While in the heart of the historical center of the city, the Rossi Hotel is surrounded by beautiful buildings of the 19th century and is a few minutes walk from the main attractions of St. Petersburg: the Hermitage, the State Russian Museum, Kazan Cathedral. Unlike classical Russia, Angelo Hotel is in a much more sunny place, but is not less comfortable and excellent for maintenance.
