Inexpensively buying a land plot. Not to offer oil

And neglected diseases once have to be treated.

Since the Perm emergency rescue squad is engaged in the elimination of the consequences of accidents related to soil pollution, we can judge the situation in the region quite objectively.

The current season of liquidation is already coming to an end – it means that you can summarize some results.

The first thing I can state was much more “abscesses” this year, which was recorded last year. But I want to notice: not because there were more new emergencies, but because they finally began to talk about old problems without closing their eyes on them. And this is a good sign indicating the improvement of the situation in the issue of monitoring the circulation and use of land.

Judging by what is now found in the Earth, in which tenders our detachment is involved in the elimination of the consequences and in which there is still a place to participate, the situation in this area was very launched. For about twenty years of preservation of soil cover, almost no one was engaged in.

Recently, our detachment took part in the elimination of the consequences of one of the accidents: an exit to the earth’s oil surface was recorded. During the examination, it was found that under a soil layer of 70 cm there were two containers with an oil product, buried to a depth of four meters. It turned out that twenty years ago there was a boiler room, when it stopped functioning, a landfill arose in this place by itself (as often) by itself (as often).

Gradually, she was overgrown with shrubs. But the oil product from rusted containers found a way for himself.

Last year, another accident was discovered in another area of the city, which has been about fifteen years old. Creesot leaked on the territory of the former sleeping plant and was already absorbed into the ground, poisoning all the soil around.

Moreover, last year the head of the city was published on its liquidation and even money was allocated, but for some reason the Dzerzhinsky district did not organize a tender for work. And everything is left as it is.

Another situation is opened in the Kirovsky district, in the water -winning zone 180 meters from the river. Controversial reinforcement was shot down on containers with the oil product, and more than 150 cubic meters of fuel oil poured into the ground. According to our estimates, about 1000 square meters of land are infected. By all grounds, this is emergency, but it is not yet recognized.

Moreover, the problem is also not new: when the leaked fuel oil could still burn, there were fires twice, in 1999 and 2002. Both the authorities and the leadership of the plant knew about this, but they did not take any measures.

And how many cases when information about the accident is simply hidden or the conclusions are distorted about the consequences.

Unfortunately, among enterprises engaged in land reclamation, there are frankly unscrupulous ones that carry out work without observing technological requirements, or simply do not finish them to the end.

And this is evidence of our attitude to the Earth on which we live and grow children. But it’s good that they began to talk about it lately, the problems have stopped silent and at least someone began to work really. As a positive example, I want to give attitude to environmental problems in the Ordzhonikidze district of Perm. As soon as an emergency situation was discovered with a leak of oil product, the authorities immediately delved into the situation and took the necessary measures to eliminate it.

And this is the great merit of the head of the district. She completely took control of the situation. Twice a day, the administration’s employees went to the facility and monitored the work. And let the budget, as always, delayed with money, but most importantly – the situation was localized and eliminated.

I must admit that the city authorities, regional environmental structures and the environmental prosecutor’s office have recently become more attentive to issues of land ecology.

Recently, a land problem was raised at one of the meetings at the city hall. There is only one conclusion: until the land has a specific owner who would be responsible for its condition, the situation is unlikely to change dramatically. I think the fact that land plots in the city are now becoming more and more in demand, the tendency to strengthen control over the use and state of the Earth will only increase. And this is for the best.
