Amari’s brand plans two new resorts in China

Thai ONYX Hospitality Group will open two Amari resorts in China by 2016. Amari Uydong in Guangdun and Amari Dali in Yunnan, both will offer premises in the resort style in key directions in China. New contracts are the next step in the ONYX growth strategy, which was announced in advance, and its purpose to become a leading supplier of Asian hospitality by 2018.

In 2010, ONYX set a target to increase its portfolio of operating properties to 51. By the end of 2013, the group will have 36 existing hotels and 13 more contracts signed for the future. The head of ONYX, Peter Henley, said: “Two new signing of contracts in China further strengthen the ONYX position in this decisive market.

“We already have a presence in the region through our SHAMA brand for serviced apartments and the introduction of our hotel brand Amari will develop the Chinese trace of ONYX even further. “Amari hotels in Thailand served guests from China for many years, and we hope to introduce the traditions of our Thai hospitality in China.”

Located east of Khuzhuu, Amari Huidong is located within the resort zone of the Sun Lao Bay, which has more than a kilometer zone of the length of the coastline, and the resort itself has access to the beach more than500 meters.

The popular purpose of the resort, Huidong within the easy reach of Shenzhen and Hong Kong, offers a welcome vacation on weekends to city residents. The resort building is 150 rooms, two restaurants plus hall and at the Bar basin, functional room, conference rooms and Breeze Spa. According to existing plans, the resort will open in 2016.

Amari Dali, who should also open in 2016, will have 260 rooms. The mountainous area in the province of Yunnan likes vacationers with their magnificent landscape and the historical value of the ancient city of Dali.

Amari Dali opens a view of the well -known lake Erhai and will also have their own building with lake water in the resort, with many guests rooms, opening up to the shores of Lake. The resort will also offer a dining restaurant, a special Chinese restaurant, dance hall, conference rooms, a pool, a gym and Breeze SPA.
