by hotjapanse

The Central District of the Singapore business center was complemented by another creation of the Tange Associates architectural studio in the form of a 38 -storey office building called Raffles Place Tower 2, which took place next to its predecessor Tower 1 tower, erected here according to Kenzo Tanga projects in 1986. In the late 80s, this building was the highest structure outside the United States. Despite the modern direction in the design of the new building, it perfectly complements the first tower, the facade of which was made of aluminum, and is distinguished by its power.

The second tower has in the design of the facade a wall made of glass, which retains the direction of smooth lines of the first structure. At the same time, the new building is made in a completely unique style, being the trend of the new time. The first structure is made in a triangular motive, which is now logically included in the project of the second tower. Lighting organized by means of sculptures gives a special brightness of the landscape, especially in the dark. Incredible creation created by the artist Hiroshi, in the form of panels made of porcelain and a tower placed in a lobby, is an amazing waterfall design, whose jets flow according to works of art, giving the central entrance freshness and harmonious mood to others, especially on hot vain days.

The total area of the second structure is 34280 square meters. m., intended for commercial, commercial, as well as office premises. To date, these two structures, combined with the catwalk, are a single business center of Singapore – Raffles Place. The Tower 1 Tower is an invaluable legacy for the creation of the second building, so Singapore continues to flourish and develop. The main architect of the new structure is the Japanese creator with a world -famous Pavel Noritak Tanga, who is an example of a worthy son of his father. As mentioned above, Kenzo Pange, creator of the Tower1 structure.
